The Rise of the Infographic

While I originally presented this topic at the Podcamp Philly 2010 conference, I’ve since dramatically revamped this entire slide deck to bring the content far more up to par with more recent infographics happenings in 2020.

During the 2020 updating, I was also able to add a touch of valuable neuroscience correlations to my original infographics research.

Now, I’m excited to re-introduce this infographics-focused topic with a far more in-depth look at how infographics came to be and why they’ve become a welcome data visualization staple across today’s media-cluttered landscape.

I hope you enjoy the topic along with my findings.
